I have travelled many paths on this journey which is Life. The through line has been love, hope, faith, and gratitude. Through my studies and work in theatrical design, public education, and now fine art, I have found a calling.

My Background

I make paintings. I paint landscapes, cityscapes, flowers, and moments. I paint to share my own perception of beauty. I strive to use traditional painting techniques but I'm always exploring.

My Inspiration

Nature is my inspiration for painting. I like to think I capture moments in time...when the light hits a subject in a compelling way. Whether an expansive vista, a street scene, a person, or a flower, I seek to express what I see in terms of light and shadow.
